One of our professionals completed foundation and seismic evaluation for construction of a large retail mall in the western part of the City of Los Angeles, including a proposed bridge structure containing retail shops over a major street in proximity to a major active fault.

The Irvine Company, Newport Coast, Orange County, California

One of our professionals completed a large-scale geotechnical investigation of a 250-acre coastal property for proposed resort and residential development. The project included trenching along the Pelican Hills fault, a potentially active fault not previously investigated. The site contained numerous bedrock landslides requiring investigation by drilling, downhole logging, and selectively sampling slide plane materials for remedial design.
